Commemorative Service in the Wesley Vale Methodist Church (now, Dalton Uniting Church) founded by Old Tom and friends.
Service lead by various descendants.

11:45am-12:15pm

After the service, we have a photo opportunity on the same chair that Old Tom sat on for their famous photo together, at the Dalton Uniting Church.

Before and after the service

Wander the grave stones around the church looking for various Browns relatives, including Tom & Sarah.

12:30pm

BBQ Lunch / Picnic at the Dalton Show Ground ,
4 Dalton Road, Dalton.
(if inclement weather, at the Royal Dalton Hotel)

2:30pm

Visiting the Dalton Cemetery
(cnr Loop Road and Gunning Street, Dalton)
where Brown names dominate the headstones!

3:30pm

Cavalcade (approx 4km) to Tom & Sarah’s old farm “Oak Park” and the memorial cairn in their honour.

View “Old Tom Brown’s Tree” where he famously preached the Good News to social outcasts and sinners.

4pm-6:30pm

Released to go home, or travel back to Cobbitty.

7pm-9pm

Casual farewell dinner at Cobbitty for those of us who are left!
